COUNT:143 TAG: All Professors OUTFIT:link NOTES:	Watching as Isaac shuffled the cards he smiled a bit seeing him get lost into the repetitive nature, allowing him to do something with his hands was a good idea at the moment. Once he was ready he asked what games they knew and he smiled at a few of the games listed off by Ace and he decided to add, "Blackjack, Poker, War and Go Fish are the ones I know best but I am willing to learn new ones if you have a favorite game."  He looked at Ace and then back at Isaac and had to admit there were probably worse places the boy could have ended up, they both had chosen this profession and wanted to work with kids, though the two months off was nice as well. Peter looked at Isaac again and said, "What are your favorites?"

"I can play Egyptian war and poker pretty well." Isaac finally said after a moment of thought. Most of the time he just played poker with the older Ravenclaw guys to pass time in between tests, but sometimes war could be fun. It was even better when you were a hyper twelve year old and it tested your reflexes constantly. "Let's play blackjack. I think I know the rules." If he thought about it hard enough he could play just about whatever they wanted to, but blackjack didn't require a lot of that. Thinking was bad right now, worse than being completely idle.

Grabbing one of the small tables, Ace placed in the middle of the three. Ace then nodded and took the deck to deal out the cards he cut the deck then dealt out one card to Isaac, Peter and himself face down then he dealt one card face up to each person. Ace placed the deck next to him. Black Jack was a good game, mainly based on luck. Granted you could end up counting the cards depending on the amount of people but right now it was just to be a mindless game to keep everyone occupied. 

"Alright rules are simple. Number cards are worth their face value. Jack, Queen and King are worth ten and the Ace is worth one or eleven. The goal is to get twenty one points. If you need a card you call a hit otherwise just say stay. That or tap the table for a card or shake your head for a stay" Ace explained the rules. He hoped it would keep Isaac occupied till Asher returned.

COUNT:135 TAG: All Professors OUTFIT:link NOTES:	Once the game was picked out Peter leaned back and stretched a little hearing the satisfying pop in his back he listened to Ace as he explained the rules quite well for Isaac and it was great to get the refresher for his own peace of mind anyway. Looking at Isaac he said, "If you would like we could play a few open hands until you get the hang of it." Peter moved closer to the table and then added, "Otherwise we can simply start playing." Peter looked at Ace and almost wanted to ask if he wanted to make this a real blackjack game with the betting, but changed his mind since they were helping Isaac. That and he realized that Isaac was a fast learner and they might find themselves several gallons lighter.

"I think I know how to do it, the older kids play some times in the common room. " picking up his cards, he looked at the hidden one. It was a five, his open card being a nine. Fourteen out of twenty one. It was too low for him to stay, but high enough to be risky. His mind was so focused on the strategy side of things that he almost forgot why they were there. Logically he had to hit to win unless the professors were extremely low or busted. "Hit? Is that what your supposed to say?" He asked, a slight smile forming on his face.

Ace nodded when Isaac said hit. He passed Isaac a card face up and looked at Peter to see if he needed a card. The professor checked his cards. An eight and a Queen. He was going to stay. He did enjoy the game, it let the players just focus on chance. He was wondering what was going on with Asher. It did make him somewhat uneasy. Ace couldn't keep his mind off of it. He wasn't about to say anything though. That was the best course of action right now. 

He still had plans to go to Romania. Maybe he could convince Asher to tag along with Isaac. The kid might enjoy seeing the dragons. It could help take his mind off of the situation. He didn't really have any other ideas. What he really wanted to do was find the person or persons responsible for trying to kill Isaac. Hate crimes were unforgivable and Ace was also worried that his own family would end up being targeted. It was only a matter of time. He was worried and doing the best to just keep a smile on his face.

COUNT:144 TAG: RICHARD ACE HADWIN & ISAAC CHRISTOPHER BRYANT OUTFIT:link NOTES:	Watching the hand get dealt as well as his companions looking at their hands and then taking a few moments to think about what they were going to do. Change, that was all blackjack was and yet it helped when you had a basic understanding of addition so that you could figure out what was possible. Turning he watched Isaac start the game off. So Isaac had to hit and Ace was staying, looking between the pair he saw the Jack looking up at him and he smiled so there was some good in his hand so far, when he went to peak for the second card he kept his smiling face and chose to stay he had an 8 so he was at an 18 not a bad hand at all. "Stay" He said and then waited to see what happened with Isaac.

Asher hadn't intended for his conversation to take that long, and in reality it hadn't. He had every bit of information that he needed long before, but had spent about the last ten minutes placing protective spells on the windows and doors outside the room Isaac was currently in. They would fade fast, but it would give them some time to talk away from the boy about the sinister turn things had taken.

Entering the room, he motioned towards the professors to join him in the hallway without a word and was happy to see that Isaac stayed in place. Asher had the  sneaky suspicion that the Ravenclaw boy was about to go look at the professor's cards, but that was fine with him.

Once they were safely out of earshot, Asher turned to the men, a grave expression on his face. "I just got the full report from Aurors Rainer and Gaunt. Isaac needs to be relocated out of the country within the next few days. A former Hogwarts student is to blame and he might not be safe in the castle, especially in the Ravenclaw dormitory. It's Chrishianna Strider. Graduated about four years ago. Either of you remember her?" The more information they had, the better. Even if they had only known her for a year, it was vital recon.

Ace was about to reveal his hand when Asher walked back in. The professor stood and went over to meet Asher, hopping for some good news. It was a long shot to hope for such but Ace always tried to look at the brighter side to things. He kept a strait face as Asher spoke. It was really sad when the one behind the attacks was from hogwarts, especially when the person was from the same house as the victim. Strider. He had heard the name from some of the professors but he didn't personally know the girl. He graduated when she was in the second year so he didn't personally know her and started teaching after she graduated.

"Wish I could be more help but I only know of her from the rumors the other professors have said. I started teaching after she graduated" Ace wanted to help out more but he really didn't have much information. As far as being relocated Ace might be able to help out with that. "I still have a place in Romania if that helps. I go there every summer to work with the dragons before school starts up. Isaac might enjoy it. I was planing on going there anyway" Ace was more than willing to offer his home to everyone.
 
He had moved to Romania when he left Hogwarts and never found any place closer. He stayed at Hogwarts when teaching and would visit family but always returned to his home in Romania. He lived there for years before becoming a teacher so it was only fit that he keep it.

COUNT:233 TAG: RICHARD ACE HADWIN & ISAAC CHRISTOPHER BRYANT OUTFIT:link NOTES:	When Asher mentioned Chrishianna Strider he stood up straighter and looked at him, "Are you sure it was Chrishianna?  I started teaching the same year she started at Hogwarts, she was a very smart and happy kid... well until her brother died, then she was rather withdrawn but I never saw anything that stuck out and said she would do something like that. She was a good kid, a good student." Peter thought back to that time, hearing about Jeremiah's death, he never really expected Chrishianna to really be the same after it but killing the parents of a first year boy. That was something he couldn't really understand. Not based on her past at least. Looking back at the door he listened as Ace mentioned that he had a place in Romania, that could work after all. It could allow them to keep the boy safe. "I think Ace's place might be a good place, I know you are the one who needs to make the choice Asher but if you need help I want to. The kid needs to know he has people looking out for him, if we can do that we might be able to help him." Sighing he turned back to his fellow professors and added, "This isn't the end though if Chrishianna is getting noticed and there were other muggleborn students attacked this will only get worse."

"I want to know more about the brother later, but I agree that Romania is our best bet. Let's grab the kid and head back to the castle. It'll take a day or two to get him out of the castle anyways. We can't travel by floo network with this one." Turning towards Peter, Asher contemplated the new information. Good students didn't go bad for no reason, especially not the Ravenclaws. "You can help by finding out exactly what happened with the kid and then we'll go from there. No one hears about this, got it?"
