FRIENDS Asher needs minions more than friends. His rough and tumble ways tend to alienate him from the traditional instructors and his associates from the ministry seldom come to Hogwarts. Expect to find him at the bar whenever possible. He's pretty much cool with anyone who is an auror or intends to become one. Something about kindred spirits. Students just annoy him, but their parents...well, he hasn't just been sitting around for the past few years. Looking for: an actual enemy. Preferably an adult, possibly even a professor. So I can see these two being friends. Total buddies, slight rivals because of their opposite houses. Ace isn't a normal Slytherin being muggle born maybe Asher is one of the few people he tells (find out over the summer plots).

So I know we had them at rivals to begin with but thinking it has become more of a mentor ship than anything. Maybe Raven opens up to him more since she can't to her parents. Also since he is teaching her to become an animagus they would be seeing more of each other.
