The few friends that Braxton would have would not be super close. After all, he lies to everyone about who he is and his concern that someone would find out about it is a pretty big motivator to keep a distance. LOOKING FOR | a best friend who DOES know Braxton's secret. They can't judge him for it. Preferably not a pureblood but open to suggests.

I think Braxton would probably have a few of these. I mean, he is abrasive and doesn't really mind offending people. But he also keeps his distance and tells a ton of lies to try and hide his big secret. Not all enemies have to be mortal, they can just dislike people, which is more likely the kind of relationship Brax will have with people. LOOKING FOR | an actual mortal enemy. Someone Braxton hates more than anyone else, besides maybe his father.

Braxton keeping his distance affects more than his friendships. It also means he is very difficult to get to know and, subsequently, date. He is only fifth and just coming into his sexuality so he can be kind of man-whoreish but it's not in a flirty kind of way. He kind of just takes whatever comes his way out of self-disrespect. So maybe friends. Not sure how close they would be. Raven has an impressive reputation and every pure blood family knows of hers so defiantly some respect there. They all need some friends though so maybe they warm up to one another. That's all I got for now.

So I think we've decided to start them off as good friends. I doubt she knows his secret or that he knows about her anxiety issues at this point, but we'll get there. Can't wait to see them together again!

I think that there would definitely be mutual respect here, because no one knows that Braxton isn't actually a pureblood and his family is pretty influential as well. They have the whole arranged marriage thing going on to keep the bloodlines pure! So scandalous!

I think they could definitely be friends, but maybe the kind of friends that only talk when they bump into each other. They sit together at meals if there is no one else to sit with and enjoy each other's company but don't go out and make plans to hang out really. Make sense?

I agree. Mostly because I can't wait to see the family drama unfold. I do have an idea, though, for both you and RAVENNA SILVAN GAUNT. What if, after Melanie and Braxton start to really like each other, the families try to set up the arranged marriage situation for Brax and RAVENNA SILVAN GAUNT? DRAMA ensues! I think this could be fun if done correctly but it is up to you guys! Especially if, at any point, it is publicly discovered the Brax is mixed blood.

I like it, especially if he already know about her mom and the rest of Mel's family issues. When it's all said and done I think she'll stand up to her dad and go with him even after she finds out. It'll just take her a hot sec to figure out how to go about it.
