FRIENDS Melanie will literally be friends with anyone because she feels like it's important to have as many connections as possible to be a successful businessperson. LOVERS Loyalty is going to be the key word here. She won't expect it right off, but when things get serious...she's not her father and she won't have her heart broken repeatedly by the same person. Once you know her back story, then it's pretty easy to understand why. Other than that, she really just wants someone who can be with her. Being able to make her laugh and putting up with her anxiety attacks is always a bonus. ENEMIES In general, Melanie isn't going to be in your face when it comes to conflict. It's bad PR and she knows it, so you're going to have to do something extreme to create a public rivalry. The easiest ways to do that are to openly insult her family or to hurt her friends. She's protective of them and most importantly her brother. Mel doesn't let go of grudges easily and isn't a big fan of "forgive and forget", so don't expect to be friends with her later on if you do decide to go there. Looking for: A rival of some sort. So Raven would not confine fully in Melanie (there are not many she would confine in) so but I had an idea to cause more drama with the arranged marriage thing. What if Melanie fully trusted Raven and they were all buddy buddy and Melanie decided to confide in Raven right before learning about the arrangement then would feel betrayed by Raven. It would cause so much drama. Just a thought. Otherwise I can just see them as basic friends.

I was thinking about this earlier. The closer all of them are the worse it's going to be. It just depends on how far we're willing to take the drama. She may take some time to trust Raven again right after it happens, but I'm good with it if you are.
