The Grounds

The Gaunt Mansion 

  Located just outside Little Hangleton

Here is the Gaunt Mansion. Rebuilt two hundred years ago to mimic the old Victorian charm that the original mansion held with modern updates inside. 

The Lake  

 Located behind the Mansion    

The lake is a nice place to swim, just stay near the shore or the prier. There are many manor of creatures that live in the lake. 

The Solarium  

  Located to the back East side of the Mansion

This Solarium is a beautiful greenhouse garden complete with many different types of magical and regular plants. You can find many potions ingredients or sit for afternoon tea.

The First Floor

The Foyer

Entrance to the House

When you fist enter you are welcomed by a bright and grand double staircase foyer. It shows the modern mixed with Victorian design.

Regnum Grand Ballroom & Anguis Ballroom

Grand Ball Room located in the West Wing and Anguis is located in the East Wing

These ballrooms are used for large events. Depending on the guest size and the nature of the even depends on which room is to be used. Practice is done in the Anguis room.

Located throughout the fist floor

There are many sitting rooms and entertainment areas in the house. The first floor doesn't used any form of technology in the entertainment. 

Library of Sapientia & Scientia Sitting Room

The Library and adjacent sitting room are located in the center of the mansion

This library is two stories and can be accessed from the first and second floor. There are books of all ages and subjects. It is one of the historical prides of the Gaunt House. 

Secret Rooms

All Throughout the House

There are many secret passages and rooms in the house that have been forgotten about. If you want to find some ask Raven she might help you out, the house elves will just laugh at you.

The Second Floor

Celatum Meeting Room

West Wing of the Second Floor

This room is usually only used by the heads of the main families when meetings are needed. It is not often that children are allowed into the room. 

Oblecto Entertainment Room

Located In the East Wing

This Large home theater and entertainment room is one of the few rooms that uses technology. It was added more recently to accommodate the younger generation. 

Silenda Office

Located just off the library in the center

This is the office of the Head of the Family. Currently used by Mr. Gaunt. Being asked to enter this office isn't usually a good thing. 

Venus Music Room

Located in the East Wing

This room is filled with a manor of instruments. Every member of the family must learn to play at least one, and many are forced to learn to sing. Classical entertainment. 

The Third Floor

The Princeps Room

Located in the middle of the Third Floor

This Master bedroom with bath on suit is where Mr. and Mrs. Gaunt sleep. There is a small balcony overlooking the front of the house. It is the largest bedroom in the house.

The Palma Room

Located in the East Wing

This bedroom with bath on suit is the room of Raven’s Aunt and Uncle. They sleep here when they are not at their smaller home in England. This room is usually vacant.

The Coryphaeus Room

Located in the back most part of the Third floor in the West Wing

This bedroom and bath on suit belongs to Raven. It is the second largest room in the house with a large balcony overlooking the lake and grounds of the house. It is the furthest away from the other rooms and the easiest way to get to it is a secret stair case. Otherwise it is a long walk

The Ater Room

Located on the Far East End of the Third Floor

This bedroom with bath on suit is the room of Kenneth Siren Gaunt. He sleeps here when he is not with his parents, meaning every holiday and most of the summer when he is not at the camp. The room overlooks the front of the house

The Robor Room

Located towards the middle of the East Wing

This bedroom with bath on suit overlooking the front of the house is where Johnathan Lee Gaunt sleeps.

The Laus Room

Located at the front of the West Wing

This bedroom with bath on suit overlooking the front of the house is where Alison Vina Gaunt sleeps.

The Senex Room

The Livens Room

The First two are located on the West Wing the third on the East

These bedrooms with bath on suits are where the honorary guest or close family members stay. The first they all overlook the front of the house.

The Forth Floor

The Parlor

Located in the middle of the Fourth Floor

This Large Parlor is used as a guest lounge on the Forth floor it is the only room on the floor that overlooks the front of the house. All the Guest rooms are located on either side of the parlor down long corridors.

The first three are located on the East wing, The rest on the West

These five guest rooms with baths are scattered throughout the fourth floor. They each have their own charm and are very comfortable.

The Basement

Stairs to the Pool and Cellar Respectively

The stairs can be accessed from the first floor on the West and East wing Respectively

These long staircases give a nice underground feeling as you head to the basement rooms.

The Cellar

Located in the East Wing basement

This large Cellar has anything from wine to stored food. There is a lovely bar near the entrance. The first half is Wine and drinks while the back half is food

The Main Kitchen

Located on the Far East Wing

This room is only accessible through the Cellar and is where all the cooking is done by house elves. When there is finished meals it will either magically appear in the Breakfast Nook or the Dining Room

The Groto Pool

The Location In The West Wing

This pool extends the full length of the east wing. It has an underground cavrn feel to it making it more of a spa than a pool. There is a section with a small waterfall, basic swimming areas and even hot spring pools. There is a section that is Twenty Feet deep for the advanced swimmers
