PERSONALITY | Years of living on the road with her father has left Lyric a very social person, even if she can be closed off about personal details. Watching people use her father makes her wary of who she can genuinely trust, which so far has been next to no one. When she does let someone in though, she’s loyal to a fault, which is how she generally ends up hurt. Some people just never learn their lesson The other thing growing up with a rock star left Lyric with is a slight addiction to adrenaline. Most days she’s alright, but every now and then… well, Hogwarts doesn’t have a roller coaster, right? Quidditch has become one of her main pastimes other than messing with her guitar or writing music. She can be reckless, impulsive, and even a little awkward sometimes. The awkwardness generally comes right after stressful or unfamiliar situations, which she avoids like the plague. Why wouldn't you, when you've spent so long living in the spotlight? |

SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW
HISTORY | Lyric was the byproduct of a one night stand between a rock star and an auror who had been investigating the suspicious activity of the band’s drummer. Nine months later, Cassidy Rainer tracked down her child’s father and left the baby with the unprepared man to continue her career. Liam stepped up to the plate the best that he could, raising his daughter on the road most of the year and home schooling her whenever the time came so that he wouldn’t have to leave her, like her mother had left both of them. On Lyric’s 9th birthday, Cassidy appeared in the middle of her party long enough to tell Liam that his daughter was a witch and would be expected to attend Hogwarts in a few years when the time came. Originally Liam disapproved of the idea, wanting to keep his daughter safe with him and the band, the only family she had ever known. Lyric convinced him that it was time for her to figure out the rest of her life and that a little separation would do them both some good. Her time at Hogwarts has been a blast, at least in Lyric’s eyes. Sure, she doesn’t get to party like she used to with her dad and the guys, the food is different, and her mom seems to think it’s okay to see her off every year, but hey. At least she has quidditch. |
