Isaac tends to be a fast talker, especially when he is excited about his topic. With boundless energy and some slightly under developed social skills, he can make things awkward fairly fast. Expect him to be the kid in class asking all the questions or showing up with random facts whenever they aren't wanted.
The easiest way to hurt his feelings is to make him think that you aren't interested in what he's saying. Isaac can be sensitive when it comes to knowledge and learning, though not in a competitive sense. He'd rather help you with your homework than flaunt his superiority, especially if he thinks you're paying attention

When young nursing student Amaryllis Davison’s car broke down on the way to her most important final ever, she thought her life had ended. Luckily, her knight in shining armor arrived just in time in the form of Steven Bryant, a local mechanic who helped her fix her car and got her to the class in time. Numbers were exchanged and a year later, they were married. The couple waited until their late twenties before finally making the decision to have a child, and then along came Isaac.
Always an exceptionally bright child, Isaac did well in school and was reading months before the rest of his class. Part of came from his drive to have a better life than his parents who sometimes struggled financially. The other reason was much more complicated. At the age of 8, Isaac noticed that weird things started happening around him, things that his grandmother eventually attributed to magic. Isaac was to be the first wizard in their family which excited and terrified him at the same time.
After researching the wizarding world the best that he could, Isaac decided that he would be going to Hogwarts, even if his father was certain that they had missed some sort of application deadline or something. In the nick of time, his letter arrived and Isaac began preparing to leave home to attend a school that could change everything. Before his parents knew it, he had already read most of his text books and was packed to leave the house. Hogwarts sounds like the greatest institution that he’s ever heard of, and he can’t wait for class to start.
